Privacy Policy

Caddie AI collects the following information to provide its services:

• Account information: Your name and email address provided via Google or Apple sign-in.
• Round data: Scores, putts, fairways hit, greens in regulation, and notes you enter during rounds.
• Usage data: Feature usage counts (AI analyses, follow-up questions, content posts) to enforce plan limits.
• Device information: Basic device and OS information for crash reporting and compatibility.

• To provide AI coaching analysis on your golf rounds.
• To sync your round history to the cloud (Pro users).
• To enforce free-tier usage limits fairly.
• To generate social media content at your request.
• To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

Your round data is sent to our server-side AI service (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate coaching insights and content. This data is processed transiently and is not used to train AI models. We do not share your personal round data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

Free users: Round data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage (Hive). It is not uploaded to our servers.

Pro users: Round data is synced to Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States.

Caddie AI integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and cloud functions.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com.
• Anthropic: AI coaching analysis processed server-side.
• Google AdMob: Free tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, we declare the following:

• Device identifiers: Collected by Google AdMob on the free tier for ad serving purposes.
• Approximate location: Not collected. Caddie AI does not request or use your location.
• Round and usage data: Collected solely to provide the app's coaching features and enforce plan limits. Not shared with third parties for advertising or profiling.

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers within 30 days. Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

Caddie AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
